Dealing with a Cheese Glut…


 After making a new cheese almost every week, at some point you end up with too many cheeses!

Each cheese variety has a certain optimal eating time, and a bunch of my cheeses ripen in July (must plan better in the future!)

So, to deal with the situation, you throw a cheese tasting party!

Baby Swiss

Formaggio val'Campella

Port Salut

I copied a cheese tasting score card off the internet and had everyone score for appearance, aroma, taste, texture, and finish.

We went through a lot of cheese yesterday, and I also gave away big chunks of people's favorites.  Thank you friends and family for helping to solve the problem....

BUT--I STILL HAVE SO MUCH CHEESE!
