It's slow business, but Spring is coming to Southern Maryland!

Wild blueberries are blossoming...

Bluets, or Quaker Ladies, are blooming...

The Amish are plowing their fields...

Our newly planted apple trees are just beginning to leaf out...

The pear trees we planted two years ago, too!

Chicks are growing tiny-tiny wing feathers...

The skunk cabbage by the creek is looking lush...

And, as of April 1, I am officially retired from teaching...!
