Busy day!

One sad thing about moving to Maryland was leaving all my community orchestra connections.  Turning into a cellist late in life, I was super-appreciative of all the playing opportunities available for amateurs in Northern New Jersey.  At one point, I was playing with four different community orchestras.

I was determined to find a group to play with down here as soon as possible. 

Now I can declare:  Mission accomplished!

Today was my first concert with the Cosmic Orchestra (and it was GREAT!). 

It took me a while to figure out the anagram:

The venue was the recently completed performing arts center at St. Mary's College. 

The acoustics were GREAT, and there were so many high-tech features.

I didn't even know that this orchestra had its own Flute Choir, and they were GREAT, too!

I brought my own cheering section, and that was GREAT, too--Thanks for coming!
