The smile is deceptive….I’m afraid some salty language flew around while I tried replacing the dryer vent in the house today!

The old vent clearly overdue for replacing!

The vent protrudes from the basement wall at just about ground level.  It took two trips to the big box hardware store to finish the job.

Fitting the flexible piping onto the through-wall section and tightening the hose clamps were the most frustrating parts of the project.

My husband (visiting this week) admires the finished project.
